The Macquarie University alumni community comprises of over 110,000 graduates living in more than 120 countries around the world. At Macquarie, we broaden the traditional definition of the term ‘alumni’ and include current students, past and present members of staff, parents of students, volunteers as well as donors and friends of the University.

SOUTHERN CROSS UNIVERSITY (SCU)
SCU’s Alumni boasts over 44,000 members in many different fields of work, throughout Australia and the world. UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND
The primary role of Alumni Relations is to strengthen relationships between alumni and the University, and to promote the welfare of the University. Alumni Chapters and groups have been established throughout Australia and overseas and assist in organising functions and reunions.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES (UNSW)
Over the past sixty years, UNSW has awarded over 220,000 degrees and diplomas. During this time, the University has developed an extensive network of alumni chapters throughout Asia and beyond. The Alumni community of over 215,000 graduates, includes award-holders from institutions that preceded UNSW, such as the former Sydney Technical College, the City Art Institute or any of UNSW’s former colleges. Friends of UNSW who are non-graduates but who wish to support the University are welcomed as Alumni Associates.

UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME, Fremantle, Broome and Sydney.
Notre Dame’s Alumni and Development Offices coordinate the University’s outreach and fundraising programs to parents, alumni, donors, the Church and the corporate sector. Notre Dame remains connected with alumni and friends through the University’s magazine, In Principio, email updates, events including public lectures, reunions, celebrations and functions recognising the generous support of donors.
