AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY (ACU)
ACU National is the only public Catholic university in Australia and has six campuses in In Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and ACT. It is open to all staff and students, regardless of religious beliefs. Its Mission “aims to add a spiritual dimension in higher education in Australia”.
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME
This private Roman Catholic university was established in 1990 in Freemantle and has strong links with the American university of the same name in Indiana. A Sydney campus was established at Chippendale in 2006 followed by a new Medical School at Darlinghurst in 2008. Faculties include Law, Arts, Sciences, Business, Education, Medicine, Nursing and Theology.
